Terms and Conditions of Sale

  • Goods remain the property of Mussekat Support until paid in full.
  • The warranty period for new goods is 12 months.
    I will fix or replace faulty products purchased from me, subject to testing within 5-7 days.
  • The manufactures of some goods sold by me, especially monitors, printers and some scanners include 1-3 years on site warranty.
    1. However, it is the customer's responsibility to register their their purchase with the supplier and to retain the receipt issued by me at the time of purchase.
    2. I can only exchange/refund these goods if they were faulty/damaged on unpacking within 7 days of the date of sale.
    3. Otherwise, you will need to contact the manufacturer for a replacement.
  • I operate a Return To Base warranty scheme whereby it is the customer's responsibility to return faulty goods to me and bear the cost of this.
    1. If the goods are found not to have a fault, or where a fault has been caused by damage sustained after the goods were purchased or through misuse or installation of incompatible software or hardware, then a handling charge starting at £17.50 will be levied to correct the problem and the customer will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to them.
    2. The warranty on goods - either provided by me or the manufacturer - will become void if the purchaser has modified, damaged or mistreated the goods in any way or installed or connected incompatible software or hardware.
    Refunds and Liabilitiy:
  • Refunds will only be made where the goods sold are faulty and a suitable replacement isn't available, if returned within 7 days of the date of sale.
  • A refund cannot be made where the product has been damaged or clearly mishandled and/or where the packaging has been damaged or lost or 28 days has elapsed since the sale date.
  • In any event, Mussekat Support will only be liable for the cost of goods services purchased from me.
  • I am not liable for damage caused to other equipment due to faulty components supplied by me.
  • Refund cannot be made on any type of software once the packaging has been opened.
  • Refund cannot be made where software drivers and/or other components or parts necessary for the operation of a product are NOT returned, or are damaged or incomplete.
  • Mussekat Support is not liable for carriage costs or loss of earnings in returning faulty goods for exchange.

Retainer packages and prices are as follows:
Support for goods supplied (hardware and software) for 1 year or
up to 10 hours (calculated as 'Ad Hoc') plus maximum 3 Onsite visits (where applicable).
This includes sorting out any hardware and MS application problems you may encounter.
Out of working Hours support is calculated
at 50% extra from 6pm to 10pm and double from 10pm to 7am.
Additional hours will be charged at the applicable standard 'Ad Hoc' rate.

Return to Base or telephone support for any area (maximum 10 calls) £75.00
Onsite support - Area-1 (Up to 20 miles radius of Milton Keynes) £100.00
Onsite support - Area-2 (Up to 35 miles radius of Milton Keynes) £150.00

 

Ad Hoc callout and/or work is charged as follows:
Support for systems not supplied through me or for products purchased 'warranty only'.
The charge encounter is calculated by adding 'Callout' (if used) plus time spent on the problem.

Return to Base FREE
Standard Hourly rate. Billing is in units of 30 minutes
  • with a minimum charge of £15, regardless of the task.

    Ad Hoc callout in Area-2. £45.00

    You will receive the same professional service from MusseKat Support,
    whether you require 'Retainer' or 'Ad Hoc' support.
